It all started when…
Jonnie Irwin - I Escaped to the Country - BBC1 - S06 - Episode 10
In 2016, appeared on the TV show 'Escape to the Country'. We didn't find our dream home then, but we kept looking and five years later, we arrived at Old Hall! We moved from Shoreditch in London to rural Norfolk and three years on, we love living here. We love the open spaces, the animals (we have rescue hens, pure breed hens, two wire fox terriers (Humphrey and Hattie), two donkeys (Daphne and Dorothy) and a horse - (Finnegan) and we have our eye on some pygmy goats so watch this space. We love hosting for our guests and sharing what we love and know about Norfolk. It's a very interesting county and we are constantly surprised by it.
We recently reconnected with our 'Escape' host, Jonnie Irwin, who visited us for the sequel! Entitled 'I escaped to the country' the show follows us to Norfolk and explores our daily life. We loved seeing Jonnie and the team again and sharing a bit more of our story.
We are real 'Norfolkphiles', we love walking, anything equestrian or canine, volleyball, reading, cinema and anything arty or cultural.
